Spent the last few days exploring around Venice and learning about it’s history. It really is so beautiful, though quite hot and i’m absolutely covered in mosquito bites - but that’s easily numbed with lots of wine. Today was finished with a beautiful sunset ride around the canals. Bellissimo!
Here’s Josh hiking over a little mountain stream, through the clag (which we came to know basically means ‘mountain fog’ ) on Scafell Pike. I really love when moments like this happen, totally unexpected weather, lining up with the perfect backdrop. Definitely one of my favourite photos from the trip. The IGTV series we made for @Victorinox is up on their channel now! #MyVictorinox #Ad
Views like this just make me think of home and cups of tea. Proper british countryside. I do love the Lake District! . . . . . #folkgood #folk_life_mood #folkscenery #artofvisuals #discovernature #stayandwander #outside_project #wonderful_places #wildernesstones #liveadventurously #visituk #lakedistrictuk
Here’s a little visual teaser for you showing off some of the amazing landscapes I got to explore recently with @joshzoo and @adrianbliss for a project that’s being released over the next week. We climbed, Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis as part of the Three Peaks Challenge with @victorinox to celebrate their travel campaign and documented the whole thing. There’s 4 episodes in total and you can watch the first one over on the @victorinox page! #MyVictorinox #ad
Did I go into hibernation from instagram until summer returned? Why yes I think I did. So happy to be flying somewhere HOT again 🌞 Arrived to Barcelona late last night and got treated to this sunset during the flight. Excited to explore round and have fun times at Primavera Sound festival. Also got a fun project I worked on to share soon 👀🎥 ⛰
Never in my life did I think I would meet a Maasai Warrior, let alone spend a week with one. This is Wilson, the best Maasai warrior, though I am biased. He has been the bridge for the Masaii tribe to the rest of the world. A man who has looked a lion straight in the eyes with no fear before taking its life. But he is the most gentle soul, always has a smile and honestly cracks some great jokes that completely take you by surprise. He was with us the whole trip to show the amazing impact that @metowe have had on the community around the Mara as well as introducing us to people from his own tribe. On our last night of the trip we had the lovely pleasure of making our own beads with the Masaii mama’s, we were taught how to become warriors ourselves (albeit bad ones - I could barely even lift the spear ) and we laughed and joked with him till the sun had set and all our arrows had been fired. Then, as Wilson gave us a closing speech for the day, over the hill completely unexpectedly, almost like a scene from a film, came the elders of Wilson’s tribe. They chanted, surrounded us, blessed us and started jumping as part of their well known traditional dance. Wilson told us how special it was to be experiencing this and all of the group completely broke down. It was an incredible moment, extremely emotional and something which I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I really hope to return to Wilson and see the continued amazing growth his community has. Also just because we’re great friends now and I miss him. Umoja ni nguvu
A few weeks ago I went on the most eye opening and amazing trip of my life to the Maasai Mara region of Kenya with @metowe - I can’t wait to share photos and stories of this trip as it really was a moving and emotional experience. Being able to see the beautiful animals such as these elephants was only a small part of the trip. We were welcomed into the most loving community, immersed in its rich culture, meeting the local school children, families and tribes and got to experience elements of their daily life there. Most importantly we really got to see first hand the massive positive impact that was happening on the ground and it was so heartwarming to see how @metowe are helping to empower communities, creating real hope for a brighter future. I have so much to tell and will try to share what I can from this life-changing trip!
“I’m just going to go for it, are you ready? I’ll get it first time.” …alas, this was the 6th attempt. But look at that incredible form - 📷: @matthewhague There honestly is no better to shake off the muggy shell of last nights self after a long night of drinking and dancing than launching yourself off a jetty into a lake. Genuinely was the morning ritual and I wish I could do it every morning in the city. @victorinox #HausOfVictorinox #MyVictorinox #ad
As shadows lengthen, pink hues of sunset fade away, we say goodbye to the daylight and welcome the enchanting darkness as we become creatures of the night. Dancefloors begin to vibrate, lights start flashing, people start screaming, there’s magic in the air. 📷: @matthewhague Wishing I was back to the wild madness of Wilderness this evening. Already planning to go back next year! Can’t thank @victorinox enough for the amazing time! #HausOfVictorinox #MyVictorinox #ad
Standing in a huge crowd in the middle of a field singing at the top of your lungs and dancing (quite questionably ) whilst being blasted with lights and music… I don’t think there’s anything I enjoy more! 📷: @matthewhague This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to escape the city and head to Wilderness Festival with @victorinox I’ve always wanted to visit after I’d heard so many stories of the wild and wonderful things that happen there and it really did live up to expectations. I’ve put a little story together to show what I got up to if you want to check it out and i’ll be sharing more photos of my experience over the next few days. #HausOfVictorinox #MyVictorinox #ad
Get as many people as you can, into as many dinghy’s as you can. Race them, raft them and have a sunset party 🍻🌅🍻 One of my favourite moments of the trip was the dinghy race party. Very impromptu and amazing when everyone gets involved, though it may break your camera gear which is not so fun... ah well, c'est la vie!
Recently I took the train into London and spent the afternoon exploring around The Sky Garden with my friends @matthewhague and @graceorobinson It’s so close to Fenchurch Street Station, has the best views of London and it’s free to get into! Check out my story to see more of the day. Definitely have an adventure there if you’re heading into London, you can get in super quick with @c2c_rail Thanks for sending me! It was lovely. #c2crail #ad
