What do you do to keep yourself motivated and proactive whilst working from home? 🏠 . I love that the modern day has allowed me to be able to work from wherever I want, especially working in social media. It allows me to travel, manage my own hours, not having to endure the daily commute to work, and also have the convenience of having my kitchen metres away! . Although there are a ton of pros to working from home - there are also a lot of cons. Here’s a few useful tips to help you out if you’re a home worker and need some motivation! Read on to find out more; 1. Build a permanent work space to work from. Commit to working from this space everyday as this will help separate your work space to your home space and increase your productivity. 2. Set yourself work hours. Try and stick to these as closely as you can. This means you will be your most productive during these hours and be able to ‘switch off’ during your non-work hours. 3. Exercise! Working from home can often mean not leaving the house all day. This can lead to multiple health risks and even lead to depression. Go out for a walk on your lunch break or go for a game of tennis after work and get those endorphins pumping! Do you work from home or in an office? There are quite a number of scientific studies out there that link eating breakfast with better nutrional status, better cognitive performance and good maintenance of body weight. These studies show that a higher percentage of breakfast skippers are more overweight when compared to breakfast eaters. Some studies show that this is still the case even though breakfast eaters generally have a higher level of daily energy intake.
